Business class passenger banned from United Airlines after peeing on stranger midway through long-haul flight
After reportedly peeing on a stranger during a lengthy journey, a business class customer on UNITED Airlines has been barred from flying.
Four hours after takeoff, Jerome Gutierrez was traveling from San Francisco to Manila, Philippines, when a fellow traveler got up from his seat and began to urinate on him.
Mr. Gutierrez, who was asleep when the startling event occurred, was forced to spend eight more hours sitting in his sopping wet clothes.
“[Gutierrez] was asleep and buckled in and was surprised when he looked at the man,” Nicole Cornell, Gutierrez’s stepdaughter, told SFGATE.
“He thought he was dreaming before realising he was soaked from his stomach down in that man’s urine.”
According to Cornell, the flight attendants advised Gutierrez not to approach the man because they were concerned that a conflict might break out and that he might turn violent.
“I am shocked and disgusted by United Airlines’ handling of this,” she stated.
“The plane ought to have turned around to deal with this biohazard. They prioritized the airline’s interests over my stepdad’s well-being.
According to reports, the man who allegedly peed on Gutierrez afterward expressed regret and pleaded with him not to file a complaint.
Following a customer disturbance on the flight, a United Airlines representative informed the New York Post that a man had been prohibited from flying.
They stated: “We requested that police meet our flight upon its arrival in Manila on December 28 in order to resolve a passenger incident. The passenger has been blacklisted.
It follows the discovery of a body in the wheel well of a United Airlines plane following its Christmas Eve landing in Hawaii.
The aircraft departed Chicago on its way to Maui.
But as the United Airlines flight touched down at Kahului Airport, the terrifying scene was revealed.
According to the airline, the body was discovered in the wheel well of one of the main landing gears.
According to a statement from United Airlines, “the wheel well was only accessible from outside of the aircraft,”
“At this time, it is not clear how or when the person accessed the wheel well.”
It is unknown what the person’s gender or identity is.
Regarding the event, United Airlines stated that it was collaborating with local law authorities.
The U.S. Sun reached out to Maui police for comment, but they did not immediately reply.
