Calls mount for Travis Kelce to face major NFL punishment which he avoided despite rival being penalized
Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs is being criticized by NFL fans for celebrating a touchdown.
The event occurred on Saturday at the Arrowhead during the Chiefs’ 23–14 victory over the Houston Texanson.
After a deft move, 35-year-old Kelce scored a touchdown and seemed to mock a Texans opponent.
Last year, when Baltimore Ravens star Zay Flowers scored against Kansas City, a same incident occurred.
The 24-year-old Flowers seemed to irritate an opponent, whom he also pushed.
Some NFL fans were surprised that the league didn’t fine Kelce the same amount of $10,927 (8,845) for being unsportsmanlike.

A third contributed the following: “Chiefs don’t play with the same playing field.”
Some supporters, on the other hand, maintained that the two instances were entirely distinct.
“Truly compare both instances, because they aren’t the same,” a fan wrote in a tweet.
Someone else said, “Nowhere near the same.”
“Give it a rest people,” wrote a third.
