Caught on Camera: “THONG THIEF” Arrested for Stealing Thousands in Women’s Underwear

According to the documents that were obtained by Arizona’s Family, a lady was taken into custody for allegedly stealing women’s underwear worth thousands of dollars from numerous malls in the Valley and attempting to sell them for profit in order to assist feed her drug habits.

Leticia Martinez Perez, who has been given the nickname “Thong Thief” by the Glendale police department, is suspected of stealing fourteen thousand dollars’ worth of underwear from Victoria’s Secret stores located in shopping centers such as Desert Sky Mall and Arrowhead Towne Center.

The authorities have stated that she is responsible for eight separate instances of theft. November 19, 2023 was the date of the first incident that Perez was accused of being responsible for. Next, there were additional thefts that occurred in the months of January, February, and March. On May 15, she was taken into custody.

On many social media platforms. Perez was arrested after the thefts were captured on video, and the Glendale police department also conducted an interview with her, during which she acknowledged to selling the underwear for financial gain.

The surveillance recordings show a person filling a bag with items off the shelves at Victoria’s Secret. The person can be seen doing this. Her initial statement to the police was that she had never been to Glendale, which she made during her detention.
