CCTV of Brit mum Emma Lovell murder shows teen burglar wielding knife in Boxing Day break-in & making chilling threat

HORRIBLE CCTV footage shows the moment a British mother was fatally stabbed on Boxing Day after two teenage criminals stormed into her house.

The Supreme Court of Queensland has revealed footage that captures the initial minutes of the horrific break-in at Emma Lovell’s house in Brisbane’s North Lakes.

On December 26, 2022, two 17-year-old youths attacked the 41-year-old mother of two, fatally stabbing her outside her home.

One of the teenage thugs, who would eventually enter a guilty plea to murder, is seen in the video testing the front door before giving his partner an off-screen thumbs-up.

Both boys return a few moments later, one of them carrying a big knife before going inside.

Around 11.30 p.m., Emma and her husband Lee were roused by the barking of their dogs.

Before the altercation spread to the front lawn, a physical altercation broke out outside as the invaders were confronted at their door.

As the mother attempted to defend her family from the armed intruders, she was fatally struck in the chest, and Mr. Lovell was stabbed during the altercation.

Horrifying threats were also recorded in the recording.

As Mr. and Mrs. Lovell battled for their lives, the words “stop” and “I’ll kill you” were repeated several times.

The evidence showed a violent attack, despite the defense’s assertion in court that the second kid was the one shouting “stop” throughout the event.

After confessing to the murder, the assailant who struck the victim was sentenced to 14 years in jail.

However, after a judge-only trial in October, his accomplice was found guilty of burglary and assault causing bodily harm in company, but he was cleared of murder.

In the months before the house invasion, the now-19-year-old—whose identity is being kept secret for legal reasons—was also accused of a number of other offenses, including breaking into other homes.

He was given an 18-month prison sentence by Justice Michael Copley, but he was released right away because he had already been detained for almost two years while awaiting trial.

Lee, Emma Lovell’s husband, was upset at what he perceived to be a light penalty for the adolescent.

The distressed spouse contended that he ought to have been given the same punishment as his accomplice.

Originally from Ipswich, England, Mr. and Mrs. Lovell moved to Australia in 2011 after making their first trip there in 2002.

“Australia was supposed to be our dream come to life, but I can’t help but feel completely let down and broken,” Mr. Lovell stated in court on Wednesday.

The father of two disclosed that his girls’ lives would never be the same and that he is currently considering relocating his family to the United Kingdom.

He stated, “I feel like Boxing Day 2022 was like a sliding door moment for us,” as he spoke to the adolescent prosecutor.
