Charissa Thompson fights back tears live on Fox NFL Kickoff after emotional segment hits presenter hard
At Fox NFL Kickoff, Charissa Thompson fought back tears following a tearful report on young Aiden Steiner.
Aiden is seven years old and has Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy (INAD), a rare fatal condition.
Those who suffer from this horrible disease, which has been compared to “ALS and Parkinson’s Disease combined,” are usually not anticipated to live past the age of ten.
A piece about Aiden’s predicament was introduced by Thompson during the most recent FoxNFLKickoff.
In addition to describing Aiden’s sickness, the story highlighted the importance of the time he spends watching football with his father, Marc, and younger brother.
Aiden and his father had the opportunity to tour the Fox NFL studios and even meet one of their heroes during last week’s broadcast.

Cam Jordan, a defensive end, met the two New Orleans Saints fans.
After meeting Jordan, Aiden gave his pleased father a hug.
“It just felt like this was the full circle father-son moment of the things we cherish the most together,” Marc’s father stated.
Mom “Aiden is considerate, considerate, and sympathetic,” Dana continued. His dimples show when he smiles, and everyone’s hearts melt.
He has reminded us of the importance of loving truly and forgiving others, especially your younger brother.
Since Aiden is only seven and a half years old and the majority of impacted children don’t live past ten, we don’t have much time. Being loved by Aiden is a very unique experience.
Thompson, 42, battled back tears as she made her way through her next link after the show’s return to the studio following the poignant portion.
“I will try not to cry as I read this,” she said at the start. “We want to give Aiden a huge hug on behalf of the Steiner family and all of us at Fox.
“And if any of you would like to participate in the battle against INAD, please do so this Tuesday. No matter how much you provide, it will go straight toward the discovery of the only cure for this terrible illness.

‘THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO’
Then, fighting back tears, she said, “I’m so sorry,” and apologized. I also want to thank Cam Jordan for everything that he does.
With every dollar donated going to the organization, Aiden’s A-Team was established to collect money for the Inad Cure Foundation.
The Aiden’s A-Team website expressed gratitude to Fox for helping to spread the word.
