Charissa Thompson had to tell Amazon Prime analyst Andrew Whitworth to watch himself after he made disparaging remarks about Aaron Rodgers.
The host interrupted Whitworth’s Rodgers tirade with the words “Hey now” while he was working on Thursday night’s coverage of the Green Bay Packers’ game versus the Detroit Lions, the Super Bowl favorites.
Rodgers is the most well-known of the Packers players who have suffered after leaving coach Matt LeFleurand, according to the NFL analyst.
“Not too long ago, we were discussing who Matt LaFleur is when Aaron Rodgers leaves the Green Bay Packers,” Whitworth stated.
“Well, Aaron Rodgers has four victories in his two years as a Jet, Nathaniel Hackett has failed twice, and Luke Getsy has been fired twice.
“At worst, Matt LaFleur has nine victories and has won a playoff game two straight seasons. Matt LaFleur is an outstanding football coach, and I believe we know exactly who he is.”
