Children left ‘vomiting on each other in classrooms’ after horror bug sweeps school – as parents blast response

Pupils have been ‘vomiting on each other’ due to an illness outbreak, according to angry parents.

Despite hygiene being the most effective way to stop a bug from spreading, they claim that the school has not “deep-cleaned.”

Telscombe Cliffs Academy, located in Peacehaven, East Sussex, was hit by the illness.

Parents have criticized the school’s response, claiming there was a lack of communication, according to The Argus.

The school claimed that the health of its more than 500 students was of the “utmost importance” and that it had already informed the parents.

Additionally, it claimed to have taken more cleaning precautions.

The ‘winter vomiting bug’ is a bug that is thought to spread isnorovirus.

Symptoms of the stomach bug include diarrhea and vomiting.

According to the NHS, if your child has norovirus, they should stay home from school until they haven’t had any illness or diarrhea for at least two days, as this is when they are most contagious.

Adults and the workplace are no different.

What are the norovirus symptoms and how long does the winter vomiting bug last?

The Argus was informed by an irate parent who wished to remain anonymous that “children are vomiting in classrooms, vomiting on others, and being left with sick bowls.”

“Even so, the school has not yet been closed for thorough cleaning,” she stated.

There has been no word from the school about this serious outbreak.

The school has not shut down classes, contacted parents, or enhanced cleaning, according to another parent.

Kids threw up on others in class and only the ones actively vomiting were sent home; the ones covered in sick were told to clean themselves up, they are only six year olds.

In the assembly hall, where everyone eats, children have begun throwing up.

“I think it’s disgusting that parents haven’t been made aware and that the school hasn’t closed for a deep clean!”

According to the parent, they did not want their child to get sick.

The health, safety, and well-being of our students and employees are our top priorities, and we take any illness extremely seriously, according to an Academy spokeswoman.

“Seasonal diseases may strike members of our community during this time of year, just like in schools around the nation.
