CMPD Interrogates Suspect in Houston Leading to Texas Arrest in Charlotte Shooting Case
DEBARYLIFE – A suspect in a Charlotte killing was taken into custody by Houston, Texas, police on Monday.
To speak with Jose Francisco Ulloa-Martinez, 42, regarding the death of Kevin Merlos-Saravia, 23, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police flew to Houston. A press release from the CMPD on Friday stated that police had acquired a warrant for first-degree murder.
Around five in the am on May 26, the CMPD responded to a complaint in the 6100 block of Winged Elm Court where they discovered a man had been shot to death. Merlos-Saravia was subsequently identified as the victim.
