College Football Playoff latest rankings revealed and ESPN expert slams ‘disrespect’ towards undefeated team

JOEY GALLOWAY slammed the latest College Football Playoff rankings and claimed one team is being “disrespected”.

Following some shock results in week 12, there was much debate in the ESPN studio.

Galloway criticised the committee for not ranking Army higher.

The Black Knights took their record to 9-0 overall after beating North Texas 14-3.

Despite their incredible run of form, they jumped just one place this week from 25th to 24th.

And Galloway is convinced they are being unfairly overlooked, saying: “Army is being disrespected.

“Army is undefeated. If Indiana is being disrespected, Army is being disrespected.”

Galloway brought up Indiana, who are fifth in the rankings, after Booger McFarland argued the Hoosiers were also incorrectly rated.

They are top of the Big Ten Conference with 10-0 record – yet one place under Penn State in the playoff rankings.

McFarland highlighted that they secured victory over UCLA 42-13, with Penn State doing it by a less impressive 27-11 scoreline.

He argued: “Penn State being ranked over Indiana, even though Indiana beat the same team Penn State beat in UCLA, they dominated them.

“The committee is using subjectivity when they want to use it.”
