Conor McGregor’s plan for 6-bedroom mega mansion hits huge stumbling block days after civil rape case verdict
Given that it is currently embroiled in a planning dispute over toilet waste, CONOR McGregor’s ideal mega-mansion may be on the verge of collapse.
Last Thursday, the UFC star was convicted guilty of assaulting Nikita Hand at the Beacon Hotel in Dublin in December 2018.
Additionally, underfireIn his own country, McGregor, 36, is dealing with more bad news as plans to build a luxurious mansion with six bedrooms are still on hold.
The pad in rural Straffan, County Kildare, is planned to include two enormous basements: one directly beneath the home with a movie theater, gym, sauna, jacuzzi, and treatment room, and another separate from the house with a games area, bar, and parking lot.
In 2021, Kildare County Council first gave McGregor planning permission to partially destroy and expand the historic house.
In order to accommodate his expanding family’s requirements and desires, McGregor changed his mind and ordered the entire current house to be demolished before the demolition process began.
However, the mega-compound he intends to construct will be five times larger, and the council has already voiced concerns about his plans and brought up a number of sewage disposal-related issues.
Additionally, according to the council, the location of the wastewater treatment infrastructure on the property is inappropriate.
Compared to the current 605 square meters, the new home will be 3073 square meters. The basement alone will measure 746 square meters, which is almost ten times the size of a typical three-bedroom home in the UK.
After the council brought up a number of concerns, McGregor’s application has now come to a standstill in the previous four months.
The proposal will be withdrawn and the existing house will continue to look like a total mess if more information is not submitted by January.
Seven questions have been made by the council, most of which have to do with sewage disposal.
The proposed Waste Water Treatment System’s location seems inappropriate, according to the council, and McGregor’s team, Tyler Owens Architects, has been instructed to speak with the EPA to locate a better site.
Additionally, it requests that his team create a Site Suitability Report and pinpoint the precise locations of any neighboring ditches and streams.
They re also asking for mitigating reasons for such a huge development stating that the design and scale of the proposed replacement dwellings by virtue of its proposed length, massing and scale in relation to surrounding rural development is inconsistent .
McGregor also purchased the property next door in 2022 which he has no intended works for and it will remain as a house for our client’s staff and/or guest house , states the design statement.
That document states that the utility room, breakfast room, kitchen, and bathroom of the current pad have already been destroyed.
Last week, McGregor was found guilty of assaulting Nikita Hand in December 2018 in a Dublin hotel.
Accusations of “raping and battering” Ms. Hand were made against the celebrity, which he has strongly rejected.
But McGregor has vowed to appeal the High Court s decision and expressed his “regret” over “mistakes” made.
In a statement on social media on Monday, the fighter wrote: “People want to hear from me, I needed time. I know I made mistakes.
I should never have stepped out on the woman I love the most in the world. That s all on me.
“I have instructed my legal team to appeal the decision.
“I can t go back and I will move forward. I am beyond grateful to my family, friends and supporters all over the world who have stayed by my side.
“That s it. No more. Getting back to the gym – the fight game awaits!”
The Irish star previously told the court he had consensual sex with Ms Hand, 35, in a penthouse at the Beacon Hotel, which was rejected by the jury.
Each day McGregor arrived with his partnerDee Devlinby his side.
