Cops ‘closing in’ on UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson assassin’s ID as he’s seen making call in new vid before murder
In New York, COPS are “closing in” on the assassin of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
Less than fifteen minutes prior to the murder, the man who shot the healthcare boss was caught on camera on his phone.
When Thompson, 50, arrived at the Hilton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan at approximately 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday, he was shot in the back and died.
Around 6:30 am, a man who fits the killer’s description—wearing a gray rucksack, a dark jacket, a hat, and a ski mask—is seen seemingly talking on his phone as he makes his way to the Hilton Hotel.
About five minutes prior to the incident, he arrived at the spot and waited for Thompson, who was coming to the hotel for a conference with investors.
According to law enforcement officials, the assassin used a silencer and shot Thompson from around 20 feet away, giving the impression that he was a proficient shooter.
When his gun seemed to jam during the shooting, he was also able to quickly recover, resolving the problem and keeping the gun firing while the CEO made a valiant attempt to crawl away.
Unsettling video shows the shooter shooting Thompson several times as he entered the opulent hotel.
After the shooting, the murderer ran into neighboring Central Park on a CitiBike.
Teams of forensic investigators found a heartbreaking message written on the bullets the murderer used to kill Thompson in cold blood.
Live rounds and shell casings at the scene contained the words “deny,” “depose,” and “defend,” according to police sources who spoke to the New York Post.
It has come to light that Thompson and his wife Paulette were living in different residences in the Maple Grove, Minnesota, suburbs, less than a mile apart, at the time of his death.
