Couple gets engaged during Howie Mandel & Arsenio Hall show at MGM Detroit

Steve was summoned up on stage by Howie Mandel and Dora at last night’s performance. Despite their jokes about Steve, Howie and Arsenio let him pop the question and get down on one knee! As audience members complimented them throughout the evening, Steve was successful in creating a lifelong memory. Following the concert, the pair headed to the casino floor for congratulations after being accompanied by Dora’s sister, two brothers, and their respective wives. MGM Grand Detroit gave the pair a complimentary bottle of champagne as part of their celebration.

DETROIT (FOX 2):A local man was invited on stage for a special occasion last night at the Howie Mandel and Arsenio Hall comedy event at the MGM Grand Detroit, when he proposed to his girlfriend.

For the past three years, Steve Olechowski, 52, of Harrison Township, and Dora Danielski, 44, of Clinton Township, have been together. Mandel called Olechowski on stage for the big proposition after he had already set it up.

Steve got down on one knee and proposed to Danielski, who accepted after Mandel and Hall made some jokes about him.

Danielski is a cosmetologist with three girls of her own, while Olechowski is employed at Ford Motor Company and has one daughter.

Danielski claimed that although her fianc was anxious all day, she was unaware of what was about to happen.

Throughout the evening, audience members complimented them, confirming Olechowski’s statement that he hoped to make a memory of a lifetime. Following the concert, the pair headed to the casino floor for congratulations after being accompanied by Dora’s sister, two brothers, and their respective wives.
