Cringe-worthy moment Biden asks reporter ‘can you be hit on the head?’ in bizarre attempt to swerve Israel question
THIS is the cringe-worthy moment Biden asks a reporter if she could be hit in the head by a camera in a bizarre bid to dodge a question about an Israeli hostage deal.
The awkward interaction happened following a meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog at the White House to discuss the conflict in Gaza and Lebanon as well as the release of hostages.
Shortly before the meeting, Israeli journalist Neria Kraus asked Bide: “Do you think we can get a hostage deal by the end of your term?”
In an apparent attempt to avoid answering the question, the President responded: “Do you think you can keep from getting hit in the head by a camera behind you?”
It’s not entirely clear what Biden meant but his remark closed down the question.
President Biden is known for regularly snapping at reporters – as well as a series of embarrassing blunders.

Among the worst gaffes would be the time he confused Ukraine and Russia’s leaders and even Harris for rival Donald Trump.
Footage from an event showed him bizarrely freezing on the spot, seemingly forgetting where he was and on one occasion even walking off into the distance by himself.
During a disastrous TV debate with Trump, the President – whose poor performance was blamed on “a bad cold” – stumbled and lost track during sentences.
Another time made a total of nine gaffes in one speech forcing his team at the White House to correct the errors in an official transcript, crossing out words and replacing them.
On another occasion, Biden baffled an audience at a trade union event in Washington DC when he read aloud a direction from his aid from an autocue.
“Imagine what we could do next. Four more years,” he told the crowd, before saying the word “pause” – clearly reading an instruction meant to leave time for the audience to chant “four more years”.
The issue of the hostage deal has also come into the focus of Trump’s team.
The President-Elect announced that former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee will be appointed as the new Israeli ambassador.
A staunch Israel supporter, Huckabee has maintained throughout the years that the West Bank belongs to Israel.
He has described the October 7 attack by Hamas as horrific” and ” beyond anything I’ve ever witnessed in my lifetime and argued that the US needs to stand firmly behind Israel.
Referring to Huckabee, Trump said: “He loves Israel, and the people of Israel, and likewise, the people of Israel love him.
“Mike will work tirelessly to bring about peace in the Middle East.”
