Cris Collinsworth sends message to NBC after Jayden Daniels suffers gruesome injury in Commanders-Buccaneers game
The NFL playoff quarterback’s toughness didn’t impress CRIS Collinsworth.
Jayden Daniels was left bleeding on the sidelines after taking a big hit during the Washington Commanders vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers game.
After Daniels led a scoring drive, NBC cameras showed his injuries being treated.
Melissa Stark said, “After the touchdown drive, the athletic training staff was waiting for him on the sideline.”
“They let him give all his high fives and celebrate, then they sat him down, cleaned it out, put sterile glue on it to close it up, and he was ready to go.”
NBC cameras captured blood streaming down Daniels’ face, but Collinsworth didn’t appear pleased.

During his appearance, he implied that other athletes constantly have injuries on the field yet receive no television attention.
His words were, “Oh, come on,”
“If that wasn’t a quarterback, we wouldn’t even display that.
“A cut guy would not be working on him from the sidelines. It would simply say, “You look fantastic.”
On social media, NFL fans had differing opinions about Collinsworth’s critiques.
“If that was Mahomes, Collinsworth himself would have called 911,” a supporter remarked.
“They would still, in my opinion. A tough participant with blood streaming down their face is adored by the populace. Another fan stated, “That’s a fact.”
A third fan remarked, “I hate to agree with Collinsworth, but he’s not wrong.”
A fourth fan remarked, “What do we have to do to get Cris off these games, man?”
“He’s the worst, but he’s not wrong here,” responded a fifth admirer.
Daniels had a fantastic game against the Buccaneers despite having his face busted up.

He ran for 36 yards and tossed for 268 yards with two touchdowns.
The Commanders narrowly prevailed 23–20 in the wild-card round thanks to Daniels’ efforts.
In the divisional round, they will take on the Detroit Lions, the top seed.
