Crypto tycoon sparks $2m treasure hunt after burying boxes with Bitcoin & gems sashed inside – can you find the loot?

After concealing FIVE treasure boxes, a cryptocurrency investor has set off a $2,000,000 treasure hunt.

Jon Collins-Back, a musician, entrepreneur, author, and former musician from California, has issued a challenge to puzzle and treasure seekers: use a set of clues to find the chests.

Collins-Black’s book “There’s a Treasure Inside” lays forth the clues for the “greatest treasure hunt in America’s history.”

To ensure that only the most astute treasure seekers can solve it, the clues have been crafted to be as challenging as possible.

Collins-Black advises finders not to force open the deftly concealed puzzle boxes, which are also difficult to break and require a set of instructions supplied by the crypto billionaire.

Collins-Black told Business Insider that it was useless to interrogate his friends and relatives because no one else is aware of the whereabouts of the treasure trove.

The five treasure chests contain a green Colombian emerald, a 2002 Shining Charizard Pok mon card, antiques from a shipwreck, George Washington’s jelly glass, and a Casascius bitcoin—the first physical bitcoin ever created.

Collins-Black told Business Insider that he has been organizing the grand treasure hunt for the past five years and has amassed a collection of priceless objects.

He stated: “I was attempting to determine the ideal size for this without going overboard because I didn’t want people to lose their minds.”

“If Bitcoin goes to $500,000 or $1 million or these treasures are worth $10 million in five to seven years and someone finds them, then I think I’ll just celebrate that and be happy for it,” he continued, adding that the treasure was thought to be worth between $2 million and $3 million.

In the event that the treasure is not found, Collins-Black also intends to divulge other hints.

“I don’t want to be long gone and the legend of the Jon Collins-Black treasures to still exist,” he stated.

“I don t want to drag it on forever.”

Although Collins-Black notes that you must follow a series of clues to reach the location, anyone can locate the chests because none of them are on private land.

When the enigmatic Golden Owl treasure hunt concludes, the new treasure hunt will take its place.

After 31 years, the search for the Golden Owl came to a conclusion. It was made completely of gold and silver and had diamonds on its head.

“On The Trail Of The Golden Owl” issued a series of clues and puzzles that prompted tens of thousands of individuals to join the hunt, according to the BBC.

In 1993, communications specialist R. Gis Hauser using the pen name “Max Valentin” wrote the armchair treasure-hunt book, which was illustrated by Michel Becker.

A bronze statue of an owl was buried in a secret place in France by Hauser under Max Valentin. To aid treasure seekers in finding the treasure, a book with eleven clues was produced.

These hints were frequently brief wordplay or riddles.

Neither the winner’s identity nor the location of the Golden Owl’s hiding place have been disclosed.

When the discovery was announced on the hunt’s Discord forum, treasure hunters were in a jubilant frenzy.

One individual said, “Finally liberated!”

“I didn’t think I’d live to see the day,” another person remarked.
