Dearborn man dies in electric bicycle crash on New Year’s Eve
(FOX 2) Dearborn, MichiganOn the morning of New Year’s Eve, a man from Dearborn lost his life in a bicycle accident.
According to Dearborn police, they were called to an electric bicycle collision on Schaefer Road and Colson around 11 a.m. on December 31. According to investigators, the 40-year-old local guy who was riding a bicycle lost control while on Schaefer and collided with a utility pole.
According to the police, the individual was not wearing a helmet or any other protective gear at the time of the collision.
After being brought to the hospital, he passed away.
As of Tuesday afternoon, the cause of death is still unknown.
