Desperate hunt for teen boy last seen riding red pushbike towards motorway bridge as mum begs ‘please come home’
An 18-year-old teenager went missing after leaving his Caldicot house early in the morning, and police are currently conducting an urgent search for him.
After departing between midnight and one in the morning on December 3, Joseph Bellamy was seen on CCTV riding a red pushbike toward the M48 bridge.
According to the police, he is white, six feet tall, has blue eyes, and mousey hair.
He was dressed in light trousers, a black sweatshirt, a black teddy fleece jumper, and black high-top Nike sneakers when he vanished.
Joseph’s mother posted a sincere appeal on Facebook for her son to return home.
“Joseph, my love,” she wrote. Come home, please, please. You must be here with us.
“Everything can be improved and rectified. Whatever it is. Please come home to us, please.
“You have our undying love. Every member of your family wants you.
“You and I can work things out together, step by step. Mum, I’ll always be here for you.
“I appreciate all of your kind remarks on Joseph. He has yet to be found. Please have a look at his face if you don’t know him.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Gwent Police right once.
Additionally, officers are urging drivers to review their dashcam footage if they were in the vicinity or crossed the bridge between 12:30 and 1:30 in the morning.
To let them know he is safe, they are urging Joseph to get in touch with them or his family.
