Detroit Auto Show: Things to do, where to park, and more
Prior to the charity night showcase on Friday, Huntington Place is finishing up its preparations.
DETROIT (FOX 2):This weekend marks the formal start of the 2025 Detroit Auto Show’s January return.
After two failed attempts at a summer event, the car show is making a triumphant return to January. Additionally, there will be a number of modifications from past years’ auto shows, along with some entertaining and engaging additions from the summer exhibitions.
Things to Do at the Detroit Auto Show
Huntington Place is going to warm up, even though it’s freezing outside.
Rock Crawl and Tilt Ridge are two new challenges that Ford will add to the Ford Bronco Built Wild Track.
Additionally, Jeep is offering attendees the opportunity to hit the trail through the Camp Jeep immersive engagement.
Additionally, the brand-new course with a Detroit Grand Prix motif will open.
Since riding on the test tracks is covered by the price of your ticket, there is no charge.
Along with the Detroit Grand Prix, the Detroit Auto Show also revealed that Racing Day will return on January 17th, providing fans with an opportunity to meet prominent drivers from the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and INDY NXT by Firestone.
Additionally, lucky spectators will have the opportunity to ride alongside the drivers in Chevrolet Corvette E-Rays, which served as pace cars during the Detroit Grand Prix and the Indianapolis 500, on tracks inspired by the Detroit Grand Prix.
Thousands of gearheads are preparing to arrive in Motor City for the Detroit Auto Show. Before they cross the finish line, organizers have a unique plan in place.
When is the Detroit Auto Show?
On Saturday, January 11, the Detroit Auto Show will open to the public at Huntington Place. On the other hand, the charity preview and media day officially kick off the event on Friday night.
But everyone is welcome on Saturday at 10 a.m.
The public can attend the event from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on January 11–14 and again on January 17–19.
The pause is being taken in order to accommodate Industry Days on January 15 and 16. The doors will be open from 1 to 8 p.m. on those days.
Monday, January 20 is the show’s last day, with special programming for Martin Luther King Jr. Day before the public is shut out at 7 p.m.
Detroit Auto Show tickets
Although admission is not free, purchase tickets won’t break the bank either.
Adult admission is $20, senior admission costs $12, and children under 12 admission costs $10. Youngsters under two are admitted free of charge.
Additionally, you can purchase a $50 family pass that admits three children and two adults.

Parking for the Detroit Auto Show
Detroit’s Huntington Place is home to the Detroit Auto Show.
In downtown Detroit, parking is provided at various lots and garages.
Users can reserve a spot and determine how long it will take to walk to Huntington Place by using the auto show’s driver recommendations.
Parking is available downtown at Huntington Place and nearby lots.
And the Detroit People Mover is back on the road and free! During the event, the People Mover will stop at Huntington Place and open at 8 a.m. on weekends.
For a fast way in and out, you may park in Bricktown or close to the Renaissance Center and then board.
Alternatively, you might park on Woodward further north and ride the Q Line to Grand Circus.
