Detroit police searching for suspect in fatal October hit and run on Grandville

DETROIT (FOX 2):A suspect in a fatal hit-and-run that occurred back in October is being sought by police.

Police reported that an unidentified suspect struck a 69-year-old man’s Honda Accord on W. Warren and Grandville overnight on October 5. The victim who was struck then passed away at the scene while the culprit drove off.

According to police, the suspect’s car was a white, license plate-free 2015–2020 Cadillac Escalade ESV. The car was missing a bumper and headlights, and the front end was damaged. The grill was also destroyed.

The car also included a trailer hitch, seven-spoke chrome rims, and a tiny moon roof.
