Detroit police searching for suspect in Sobieski robbery

DETROIT (FOX 2):A guy wanted in connection with a robbery on Sobieski is being sought by police.

Photos of the suspect in the robbery that occurred on the 4400 block of Sobieski in the late afternoon of December 18 were made public by Detroit police.

According to the police, the guy pulled a woman’s pocketbook from her shoulder after approaching her from behind. The last time we saw him, he was racing north on Justine Street.

Officials have described the suspect as a black male, about 5 10″, with a hefty build and a medium complex.

The man was dressed in a black vest with red text on the back and a gray sweatsuit.
