Sada Baby, a rapper, was taken into custody Thursday during a traffic stop in St. Louis, Michigan (FOX 2).

Police stopped Sada Baby, whose real name is Casada Sorrell, on Thursday due to an issue with his window tint. However, authorities discovered he had outstanding warrants during that traffic encounter.

On Thursday morning at 4 a.m., cops noticed a Dodge Ram with a tinted window on Mound close to 18 Mile. The registered owner was wanted for an outstanding warrant, authorities found out when they ran the license plate.

A warrant request was submitted in October 2023 after Sorrell was accused in June 2023 with driving without a license for three years, according to court documents.

He was taken into custody for the outstanding warrant after police verified that the driver was Sorrell.

According to the police, Sorrell also had “possible illegal contraband.” He might face charges as a result of the continuing inquiry, but as of Friday, January 10, no charges have been brought against him.

For the driving without a license charge, Sorrell has been freed and is scheduled to appear in court on January 24.
