(FOX 2) Monroe County, MichiganA woman was killed in an accident on I-75 on Wednesday.

We know:

Just after midnight, the 56-year-old lady lost control of her Hyundai and rear-ended a semi-truck near Gaynier Road in Erie Township while she was traveling south on the freeway, according to Michigan State Police. The woman then struck the center median wall after colliding with a minivan.

After being transported to a hospital, the Hyundai driver passed away. The 43-year-old Detroit man who was her passenger was only slightly hurt. There were no other recorded injuries.
