Devastating Accident! 25-Year-Old Off-Duty NYPD Officer Fatally Injured in Upstate Crash
DEBARYLIFE – Officials claimed that an off-duty NYPD officer perished in an upstate vehicle accident on Friday night.
Two-year experienced police officer Juliana Torsiello “failed to negotiate a right-hand curve on a descending road” at approximately 6 p.m. in Orange County while operating her 2008 BMW 328i eastward on County Road 51 between Blough Lane and Ridge Road, according to a New York State Police trooper.

According to the trooper, the officer’s vehicle entered oncoming traffic, struck an embankment, went airborne, and struck a tree. The car then flipped over and came to rest on its roof.

The 25-year-old Torsiello’s head was struck by blunt force trauma. The Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office received her body.
The trooper stated that investigators were considering whether the officer’s speed played a role in the collision. He added if alcohol was in the officer’s blood would be found out through autopsy.
The cop joined the NYPD in December 2021 and was assigned to the West Harlem 30th Precinct.
