Donald Trump WILL go to UK for State Visit – he loves Royal Family but protests will be rife, experts say
There will be protests, according to royal experts, despite Donald Trump’s fondness for the Royal Family and his upcoming state visit to the UK.
After winning the election last month, the former US president will be re-installed in January.
During his first term as president, Trump was well-known for his affection for the late Queen Elizabeth and the Prince Charles.
He reportedly “adored” the late Monarch and had “enormous respect” for the Royal Family.
The Sun’s Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson discussed another State Visit with Sky Royal Correspondent Rhiannon Mills and Royal Photographer Arthur Edwards.
“He loves it here, he loved our late Queen, he mentioned it many times, and the fact that his mother was from Scotland, he might well do that,” Mr. Edwards stated during an appearance on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show.

“And he’s got a couple of golf courses here.”
Ms Mills went on: “The State Visits are seen as the biggest diplomatic pat on the back that the UK can give to anybody, which is why I think as soon as we have an inauguration for Donald Trump the chatter will be about when is he coming over for a State Visit.”
The Royal Family is a wonderful gift to our government in terms of preserving ties. Despite their divergent opinions, Donald Trump did appear to get along well with Prince Charles at the time.
“It’s about the office, it’s not about the man.”
“He was elected,” Mr. Edwards continued. We must greet him if he comes over here. There will be protests, as you say, but that’s because we live in a society where protesting is acceptable, but in Russia, it’s punishable by jail time.
“It’s a great country to live in.”
It comes after another expert asserted that if King Charles and Trump meet on a state visit, they will differ on a number of issues.
“He has met them [Charles and William] before, and I think the key point will be on a state visit, when he gets an invitation to come [to the US],” journalist Chris Ship stated on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show.
“I believe that his love for Queen Elizabeth was genuine. He will have an issue with King Charles regarding policies.
The president wants to “drill, drill, drill,” and King, a fervent environmentalist, is concerned about climate change and sustainability.
Donald Trump is HUGE fan of King Charles he ll visit US with Queen and Americans will love it

Donald Trump is a huge admirer of King Charles, and Americans will adore his visit to the US with the Queen.
Royal novelist Phil Dampier said King Charles would be quite popular if he traveled over the pond.
Mr. Dampier described the success of His Majesty’s Australia tour last month on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive program.
“A trip to the States would have been a great thing as well,” he added.
“Anyone who joins Trump appears to have a deep affection for the King. He would obviously like to have him.
“If the King and Queen traveled to America, that would be massive.
“They must pace themselves; it is contingent upon his level of performance. Canada will probably be the next location.
“I’m sure that will be next, he loves Canada.”
After calling Australia and Samoa “the perfect tonic” for boosting the King’s spirits, Buckingham Palace has approved the couple’s two big visits for 2025.
He will continue his cancer treatment, which was put on hold during the trip.
Italy has been designated as one of the destinations, as the Sun can disclose.
The King and Queen are anticipated to travel to Rome, although it is not anticipated that they will meet with the Pope in person in Vatican City.
After becoming Prince and Princess of Wales last spring, Kate and William were scheduled to travel together for the first time to Italy.
But after Kate, 42, received a cancer diagnosis, it was called off.
According to palace sources, the trip to Italy has not yet been formally confirmed or finalized.
“That is not one of Donald Trump s priorities.”
Trump has already threatened to withdraw the United States from the 2015 Paris Agreement, which aims to reduce severe global warming.
Additionally, Trump has indicated support for increased fossil fuel extraction and is anticipated to reverse portions of the Inflation Reduction Act, the centerpiece piece of climate legislation from Mr. Biden’s administration.
In the meantime, King Charles and Prince William place a high premium on the climate.
Wills, who is in South Africa to deliver his environmental Earthshot Prize, feels that governments and large corporations should be doing more.
Trump is still reportedly “very fond” of the King, though.
Charles would be quite well-liked if he traveled over the pond, according to royal author Phil Dampier.
Mr. Dampier continued, “I would have thought a trip to the States would be a great thing as well,” while appearing on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive Show.
