DWTS pros feel producers ‘favor’ Jenna Johnson after partner Joey Graziadei wins season 33 on ‘tension-filled’ finale
THE DANCE After Jenna Johnson and her partner, Joey Graziadei, won season 33, the Star pros felt that the show’s producers were favoring her, an insider exclusively told The U.S. Sun.
The professional dancers on stage had differing opinions about the controversial outcomes, despite the fact that the other finalists handled their defeat in last night’s finale with grace.
Last night, Season 33 of DWTS concluded after breaking vote records for the highly anticipated cast.
Since no one was ousted in the semi-finals, five finalists—Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten, Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold, Danny Amendola and Whitney Carson, Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong, and Joey and partner Jenna—made it to the final show.
The candidates and their professional partners looked scared as hosts Julia Hough, 36, and Alfonso Ribeiro, 53, gave out the results.
The names of Danny and Witney were announced first because they finished fifth, followed by Stephen and Rylee in fourth and fourth place.

As many people believed they were guaranteed to win, there were gasps throughout the ballroom when Chandler and Brandon came in third.
Ilona and Alan, together with Joey and Jenna, were ultimately responsible.
While waiting for the results, Alan was moved to tears; however, Bachelor Joey and DWTS veteran Jenna were the winners of the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
A source informed The U.S. Sun that there was obvious tension when the cameras stopped rolling when Joey was declared the victor, even though the last moments of the performance saw the entire cast rejoicing on a platform covered in confetti.
The fact that Chandler and Brandon made history touched the entire crew, and the pros largely agreed that they were the most gifted and should have won the trophy.
Brandon’s choreography was incredible; their effort never wavered.
The insider said of Jenna and her husband, Val Chmerkovskiy, who won last season, that “it’s hard because certain pros seem to get favored on the show and the Chmerkovskiys are one of the show’s sweethearts.”
The strongest competitors are usually matched with them. Jenna got Joey this year, and Val got Xochitl [Gomez] last year.
The professionals and producers definitely play favorites, so it makes sense why fans believe it is rigged.
Joey is incredibly gifted, so it’s not that he was horrible; they earned their flowers. That doesn’t imply that others didn’t deserve it as much, if not more.
Val was seen off to the side, leaping up and down as he prepared to give his wife the trophy when Jenna and Joey’s names were called.
In 2018, Jenna and Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon won the Athletes season.
‘RIGGED’ RESULTS?
On the other hand, Val, who has been married to Jenna since 2019, has won three seasons.
Many viewers were incensed at the unjust outcomes when last night’s results were announced, and some even accused the show of being rigged.
It’s very unjust that Jenna won another match simply because she was matched with a young, athletic man. Someone said, “Give her a geriatric, and she wouldn’t be there.”
Another insisted on studying the Chmerkovskiys that the show favors.

Jenna could have done a little more, but she kind of bungled this one. One reviewer stated, “She has a partner who can do so much and can be challenged.”
Others put in more effort and performed better, but let’s be predictable and award the show’s sweetheart the victory. A fourth raged because he was so tired of this.
Some viewers, however, think that something is amiss because Joey won yet ABC broadcasts both the Bachelor and DWTS.

The Bachelor and Bachelorette franchises have produced five victors in total, and despite Joey being the first man, fans aren’t changing their minds.
DWTS formerAccording to Keo Motsepeeven, who spoke to The U.S. Sun, it was “very clear” that Chandler should prevail.
