Eagle-eyed royal fans spot Kate Middleton’s sneaky outfit change during Qatar state visit – here’s why it happened
PRINCESS As Kate returned to work today and welcomed the Royal Family of Qatar for a two-day state visit, she pleased royal fans.
During the outing, the 42-year-old Princess of Wales changed her clothes in a cunning way, as quick-thinking followers pointed out. Did you notice it?
A royal wrote: Pay attention to the details! Princess Catherine changed out of her boots into a pair of burgundy stiletto heels to accompany the rest of the Royal Family to the Buckingham Palace Picture Gallery.
As they greeted Amir Sheikh Tamim and his wife Sheikha Jawaher, the Princess of Wales was photographed beaming with her devoted husband Wills by her side.
Catherine, Princess of Wales, arrived in a carriage, stylishly clad in all-burgundy to stave against the cold.
Using things she already owned, she chose to wear her favorite Alexander McQueen coat, which she accessorized with leather gloves.

Her knee-high Gianvito Rossi boots, however, were the focal point.
Fashion expert Amber Graafland told Fabulous: Kate replaced her boots with a pair of sophisticated 650 Gianvito Rossi ‘Gianvito 105’ Pumps in Royale Burgundy Suede to join the rest of the Royal Family in the Buckingham Palace Picture Gallery, securely inside and out of the weather.
The Italian shoe brand has long been a favorite of Kate’s, who was first seen wearing one of their pumps in 2015.
This classic stiletto heelcourt has become one of her hallmark pieces, and she owns multiple pairs in various colors.
Her ensemble went from day to night with this easy shoe adjustment, which also gave it a more feminine touch.
One royal fan commented, “Both perfect, the one for outside, the other for indoors,” expressing approval of the small change.
Another was added: heels for indoors and boots for the outside. If I had to choose between the two, I would say the heels look better.
It wasn’t the only aspect of her attire that attracted notice.
Princess Kate also gave the late Queen a heartfelt homage.
Kate’s sweet nod
The Princess of Wales wore one of Elizabeth II’s pearl and diamond necklaces as a charming tribute.
Kate made the thoughtful choice to wear the jewelry with her ensemble for the third time.
The second occasion was at her funeral, when she wore it in remembrance of Queen Elizabeth.
Along with a pair of matching pearl drop earrings that were also part of The Queen’s collection, Kate first wore the stunning choker to Prince Philip’s funeral in 2021.
There are four pearl and diamond strands in the choker-style necklace.
The Queen was seen wearing the opulent piece on several occasions, notably at state banquets.
The Queen donated the four-strand choker to Princess Diana for a state banquet in the Netherlands in 1982, even though she frequently wore the costly necklace during the 1980s.
Kate’s Christmas legacy
The Princess of Wales will host her Together at Christmas event in Westminster Abbey on Friday of this week.
Along with other royal family members, she will be attending with Prince William, their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
