Eagles star Jeremiah Trotter Jr goes full circle with amazing family moment watching dad as baby to reaching Super Bowl

After assisting his Philadelphia Eagles in defeating the Washington Commanders, JEREMIAH TROTTER JR advanced to the Super Bowl.

The 22-year-old rookie has been seen celebrating an NFC Championship victory at Lincoln Financial Field before, even though this is his first NFL season.

This is due to the fact that the Clemson linebacker is the son of Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Famer and four-time Pro Bowler Jeremiah Trotter.

In two stints, Trotter Sr. spent seven seasons with the Eagles, appearing in every Pro Bowl and was named an All-Pro in 2000 and 2001.

With 371 tackles, he owns the team record for most by a linebacker and was known as the Axe Man.

On the same field, Trotter Sr. won the NFC Championship in 2005, defeating the Atlanta Falcons to end the Eagles’ three-year losing streak.

In the Super Bowl, the Eagles would play the New England Patriots, but they lost a close game 24–21 as Tom Brady and company won their third championship in four seasons.

Trotter Sr. was spotted clutching his two-year-old son in his arms following the NFC Championship game.

That child will now attempt to surpass his father and take home the Super Bowl ring that he was unable to obtain.

With Andy Reid now coaching the Kansas City Chiefs, there will also be even more recognized faces during the game.

During Trotter’s tenure with the Eagles and that Super Bowl, Reid served as his coach.

During his appearance on Good Morning America this week, Trotter Sr. stated: “I’m really happy of him; it’s great to see him live out his aspirations and make it to the Super Bowl in his rookie season.

“Wearing the same number I wore for the same team, it’s truly a blessing to see him out there doing his thing.”

He also discussed the difficult period his family has been through since his wife Tammi, Jr.’s mother, passed away from cancer in early 2023 in an interview with TMZ.

“Dude, it’s emotional,” he said.

“I can tell Mom would be thrilled for the team and proud of him.

“Her memory lives on through us, and through Jeremiah, especially Jeremiah because he looks just like her.”

“He most closely resembles her of all my children. I see her every time I look at him.

“I know she would be extremely proud of him, of all our kids, TreMil, Josiah, and we just try to be the best people and carry on her memory the best way we can.”

Trotter Sr. chuckled in response to the widely shared picture, saying, “I think I could still set him on my knee, but I can’t pick him up [anymore].”

“Time goes by quickly. Seeing those guys out there is absolutely fantastic. Without a doubt, this weekend will be enjoyable.

He went on to say of the Eagles’ prospects: “It will be a difficult task. However, they are designed for this kind of sport.
