EB I-696 crash leads to 3 vehicle fires at I-275 in Farmington Hills

(FOX 2) Farmington Hills, Mich.Three vehicles caught fire as a result of a collision on I-696 on Tuesday morning.

Around 7:30 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to a vehicle fire on eastbound I-696 close to I-275, according to the fire department. After a collision, they found three burning cars when they got there.

Shortly after 9 a.m., the freeway was fully reopened.

There were no reported injuries.
