Eerie moment mysterious ‘UFO’ is caught on live TV as bizarre orb zooms past New York skyline in chopper cam footage
This is the unsettling moment that a strange orb-shaped object was seen soaring over New York on camera.
A television chopper rolling its cameras at the moment caught the odd thing on camera.
A tiny object flies past Lower Manhattan and over the Hudson River in the brief video.
As it approached the chopper and arced away from it, the UFO-like object seemed to change from being white or even translucent to being blue and impenetrable.
It seems to be moving far more quickly than anything else in the video or anything you would anticipate flying that low.

One spectator posted on Facebook: “I used to see the Hudson River once. That color, too.
“Appeared and disappeared like alternating.”
Another said, “Alien invasion before January 20,” referring to the day when Donald Trump took office.
One just uploaded an emoji of an alien.
However, several people—including UFO specialists—have begun to question this theory.
According to Harvard professor, cosmologist, and theoretical physician Avi Loeb, the so-called flying orb is a component of the camera.

“This is probably an optical artifact from the helicopter glass in front of the camera,” he told the New York Post.
Specifically, a bright spot caused by sunlight reflection as the camera slowly shifts its position with relation to the ground and the sun.
“But even if it was a real object, the apparent speed is of an order the speed of sound and not extraordinary.”
Many other people who watched the video also came up with this notion.
FAMOUS UFO INCIDENTS

The situation became much more mysterious when US military documents were made public earlier this year that described how two “ball of light” UFOs shadowed a battleship.
One person said on Facebook, “A helicopter with blue water, blue sky, and glass buildings reflecting off of it.”
“Lens flare zooming past NYC accidentally caught on film by localnewschopper,” a different individual said on X.
Some said it might have been a balloon or a drone.
One viewer remarked, “Perhaps someone’s private drone was designed to appear different.”
“That makes the most sense if it s not a balloon.”
The Post was told by a representative of the local news channel that shot the tape that they were unsure of when it was shot but that it had not been altered.
