ESPN suffers embarrassing technical difficulty and forced to cancel huge segment with Scott Van Pelt left embarrassed
On Thursday, Scott Van Pelt encountered some humiliating technical issues on SportsCenter.
Audio problems prevented Van Pelt from interviewing Duke basketball star Cooper Flagg.
Van Pelt seemed eager for the interview, but due to technological issues, he was unable to ask any questions.
“Cooper Flagg is throwing on a headset,” he stated.
“Hi, Cooper It’s a pleasure to welcome you to the show for the first time. My name is Scott Van Pelt.
Before realizing Flagg wasn’t on the other end of the telephone, Van Pelt started to pose his first query.

When Van Pelt remarked, “He’s not with us,”
While waiting for a remedy, he muttered some comments into the camera, appearing frustrated with the show’s technical issues.
“We lost Cooper, hold on a second,” replied the man.
While awaiting Flagg’s return, Van Pelt attempted to oversee the broadcast, but his wishes were not fulfilled.
His words were, “Don’t go to the highlight yet,”
“Wait for it.”

Van Pelt finally just went on to the highlights to analyze the game after failing to get Flagg on the program.
Flagg is anticipated to be selected first in the 2025 NBA Draft since he is a college basketball prodigy.
As a 6-foot-9 freshman, he is currently averaging 16.6 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game.
At the Team USA training camp, Flagg has already faced NBA players and demonstrated his readiness for the professional ranks.
“He looks like a hell of a player,” Suns star Kevin Durants remarked following the camp.
