ESPN viewers fume at controversial national anthem before Browns-Ravens game
Before the Browns vs. Ravens game, a contentious national anthem left ESPN viewers incensed.
With a 12-5 record, the Ravens won 35-10 to take the lead in the AFC North.
However, a dreadful performance of the national anthem by the supporters overshadowed the game before it even started.
The privilege of singing ‘The Star Spangled Banner’ went to Jimmy Charles, a country rock guitarist.
Fans at home were not particularly impressed, despite the stadium’s supporters cheering along.
The performance was criticized by one, who said, “Jimmy Charles sounds like a regular American singing the national anthem in front of his bathroom mirror.”

Someone else said: “Jimmy Charles is a horrible singer lmao is he a paid musician?”
Another wrote, “If you heard the Jimmy Charles national anthem, you may be entitled to compensation.”
Additionally, someone else said, “Please don’t let Jimmy Charles sing the anthem again.”
The Ravens have won four straight games and are now in the playoffs.
They won every quarter with five touchdowns, dominating the Browns.
However, since the NFL punished cornerback Marlon Humphrey in recent weeks, they have been enmeshed in controversy.
Due to a gesture he made during a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the three-time NFL Pro Bowl defender was fined.
The NFL penalized Humphrey $11,255 for unsportsmanlike behavior (taunting), according to a report from NFL Network source Tom Pelissero on Sunday.
Humphrey intercepted Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson in the fourth quarter of the divisional matchup and returned it 37 yards for the game-winning score.
Humphrey ran the ball back while holding it toward Pittsburgh wide receiver Calvin Austin II.
Although Humphrey was not given a taunting charge by the referees, the league thought he was making fun of Austin, which is why he was fined.
