Exact date next Israeli hostages will be released by Hamas is confirmed in next step of Gaza ceasefire deal

Hamas has revealed the precise date for the release of the next group of Israeli hostages.

Families who are eagerly awaiting the homecoming of their loved ones will have some optimism as additional hostages will be released in the coming days as part of the next phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

The clarification comes after there was initial misunderstanding following a Hamas spokesperson’s suggestion that the release would be postponed by one day.

However, the official announcement from the terror group now confirms that four captives will be released this Saturday, January 25, with the next releases taking place every week for the next four weeks.

In a phased operation, 33 hostages—12 women and children, 10 men over 50, and 11 younger males—will be released, with 14 captives returning after six weeks.

Brave British captive Emily Damari and two other women were released on Sunday as part of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement, which was agreed by Israel’s security council following lengthy discussions.

Emily was ambushed during the October 7 raid on her kibbutz, Kfar Aza, and was shot by Hamas, resulting in the loss of two fingers.

After months of ceaseless fighting, the tenuous ceasefire between Israel and Hamas is holding, marking her long-awaited liberation.

Hostages were exchanged as part of the agreement, which was the first step toward a precarious break in hostilities, but the truce was almost ruined in the last hours of negotiations.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, has stated that this ceasefire is just temporary and that his country is dedicated to destroying Hamas and repatriating all hostages.

There was intense emotion as the hostages were reunited with their family in southern Israel.

After being turned over by Red Cross teams to Israeli Defense Forces soldiers, the three women—Emily Damari, 28, Romi Gonen, 24, and Doron Steinbrecher, 31—tightly clutched their mothers.

According to her mother, Emily is presently in a good mood and is making progress toward recovery.

After Emily was freed from her horrifying 471-day captivity by Hamas, Mandy Damari made her first emotional statement on Monday.

It gives me great pleasure to inform you that Emily is doing well and making progress toward her recovery, she said.

She is an exceptionally strong and resilient young woman, as you witnessed last night.

The mother went on to ask the world to continue fighting for the 94 hostages who still need to return home.

However, Hamas were given “gift bags” filled with eerie memories of their captivity by Emily, Romi, and Doron prior to their escape from terror hell.

The bags purportedly contained a “certificate” and pictures of the women taken while they were imprisoned, serving as a somber reminder of their 15-month ordeal in Gaza.

Hamas produced a propaganda video on Sunday that recorded the macabre spectacle.

In a key square in Gaza City, it depicted the three frightened women being surrounded by people as they were taken to Red Cross representatives.

Hundreds of Palestinians watched the tense standoff as masked agents with machine weapons surrounding the detainees.

To make their homecoming easier, IAF helicopters were equipped with comfort amenities, such as a blanket with a leopard print for Romi Gonen.

However, the relief of their liberation is clouded by the horrific video of their handover from Hamas terrorists to the Red Cross.
