Falls Police Request Witness Accounts of Fatal Incident on West Trenton Road

DEBARYLIFE – A 34-year-old man from Morrisville was killed when he was hit by a car early Friday. Police say the driver of the car is suspected of being drunk at the time of the accident.

A police release says the accident happened in Falls Township just before 3 a.m. when a 22-year-old Falls man hit the unidentified guy in the 250 block of West Trenton Avenue.

A guy was hit and seriously hurt. He was taken to Capital Health Regional, but he died within an hour of arriving there.

According to the preliminary probe, the driver of the car that hit the pedestrian is likely to have been impaired, which played a role in what happened. The police did not say who the driver was.

Falls police want anyone who saw the accident or thinks they have home security footage that shows the accident or events that happened before the crash to call Officer Matthew Shannon at 215-302-3335.
