The search continues for 29-year-old Luciano Mercenari, who disappeared while paddleboarding near Key Biscayne on Monday. Last seen wearing a light grey rash guard and gray shorts, Mercenari was on an aqua and orange paddleboard.
His board and dry bag were found 8 to 11 miles offshore on Wednesday, intensifying the search led by the Coast Guard. Family and friends describe Mercenari as adventurous and responsible, urging anyone with Garmin tracking devices to assist.
