Nine months after welcoming identical triplets, a family in Ann Arbor was shocked to learn that one of the babies now has liver cancer.

The community was informed about the family’s predicament via FOX 2. While viewing the story, eight-year-old Ezra Klar came up with the idea to give some toys from Toyology, his family’s company.

The toy store is owned by Ezra’s family. He thought it would be a nice idea to gift toys to the family’s seven children as a Christmas miracle.

“She had a shopping spree with $500, 25% discount, so it was way more than $500 worth of toys,” stated Ezra.

According to the Klar family, they think it’s important to give back.

“We have previously donated to other families,” Ezra stated.

“I think also when we heard it say they need like a Christmas miracle or something like that, that s when Ezra looked at me and was like mom, let s to something with Toyology,” Jenna Klar s mother said.

The outpouring of support stunned Stacy, who says it filled her heart with happiness.

“Spent about an hour just walking around and looking at everything and picking things out for the kids,” Wells added.

Ezra’s suggestion to play Santa was a much-needed respite for Stacy and her husband, who are unable to work outside the home due to JoJo’s medical issues.

“The way the community has stepped up to support us has really been touching to see,” Wells stated.

In addition to going on a shopping spree to support this family, Ezra is currently facing a dilemma that he hopes you would help him with.

“I challenge all of you guys to donate at least $1” replied Ezra.

This holiday season, Ezra hopes everyone understands that giving is preferable to receiving.
