FOX 2, Brooklyn, Mich.This year’s Faster Horses, a country music festival that has been a main attraction at Michigan International Speedway for almost ten years, will not take place.
The announcement that Faster Horses would not be attending in 2025 came at a time when fans are often organizing their camping plans for the July festival. The festival is calling the decision to postpone the event a pause.
“We are taking the year to make plans for a bigger and better Faster Horses for our fans that deserve the absolute best,” the event’s organizers wrote in a social media statement on the occasion.
Later this year, a fee rise for campgrounds in Michigan state parks may result in a slightly higher cost for your camping stay.
Since 2013, Faster Horses has hosted a days-long celebration at Brooklyn’s MIS that features both well-known and up-and-coming musicians. The main acts from the previous year were Hardy, Lainey Wilson, and Jelly Roll.
Fans expressed mixed feelings on social media, with many sad that they would miss their summer tradition this year, and others bringing up . However, authorities say that five fatalities have been documented at Faster Horses since 2021.
Combs is not commenting on the payment any further, according to a Combs spokesman who verified the information to WLNS in Lansing.
