‘FATAL’ Shooting! 39-Year-Old Woman Gunned Down Waiting For Bus In Brooklyn
New York City, USA – Sunday night, while waiting for a bus in Brooklyn, a woman was shot and injured, according to police, who were also looking for the shooter.
Investigators surmise that the 39-year-old lady was not the intended target of the gunshot that occurred near Church and Utica avenues in East Flatbush at 7:40 p.m.; rather, she was a witness.
According to authorities, the woman was struck in the leg by gunshots when she was standing at a bus stop. Citizens App is credited with the photo.
When the shooting broke out, the victim was waiting for a bus outside a deli at the busy crossing. According to the police, one of the bullets hit her in the leg.
Following her transfer to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, she received non-life-threatening medical attention.
At first, there were no reports of arrests or other injuries.
