Female ‘serial killer’ dubbed ‘Ms Cyanide’ is sentenced to DEATH after ‘poisoning 14 friends who had lent her money’

In addition to being charged with numerous murders, a suspected serial murderer was given a death sentence for poisoning a friend while on vacation.

The 36-year-old Sararat Rangsiwuthaporn has been called “Ms Cyanide” after she was charged with providing the deadly chemical to 14 of her acquaintances because she reportedly owed them money.

The Thai mother was found guilty by a Bangkok court today of poisoning Siriporn Khanwong’s meals and drink.

It is reported that she grinned when the verdict was announced.

In April 2023, Sararat and Khanwong went to Ratchaburi province together to have lunch and release fish into a pier.

However, as Sararat watched her suffer, Siriporn passed away on the riverbed shortly after eating, according to investigators.

The victim subsequently consumed cyanide, according to an autopsy conducted by Thai police.

As police began looking into Sararat, the mother and sister of the 32-year-old victim filed a complaint.

Other relatives came out with horrific tales of their loved ones passing away after meeting Sararat as a result of the startling death.

In May 2023, police detained the woman after promptly gathering evidence.

Officials claimed that cyanide was used in each of the fourteen murder charges against her, which date back to 2015.

According to investigators, among the victims were Sararat’s friends, an ex-partner, and a police officer.

There were two guys and twelve ladies.

Sararat has maintained her not guilty plea to all of the allegations against her throughout the trial.

However, Reuters, quoting authorities, reports that woman has admitted to using cyanide.

Court filings show that one victim survived the suspected poisoning.

Thongpin Kiatchanasiri, Siriporn’s distraught mother, testified in court as her daughter’s murderer was imprisoned.

“You received justice, my child,” she added, holding up a photo of Siriporn. There is justice in the world today.

Additionally, Sararat has been ordered to compensate Siriporn’s family with two million baht (45,446).

After Sararat started accruing enormous credit card debts as a result of her gaming, police suspect that the deaths were motivated by money.

Surachate Hakparn, the deputy national police chief, stated: “She has a lot of credit card debt, therefore she solicited people she knows for money.

“She began murdering people if they demanded their money back.

“She used cyanide, which was dissolved in food, drinking water, or pills, to poison all 15 victims.

“Financial problems were the motive for carrying out the cyanide murders.”

Charges of various offenses have also been brought against three other case participants.

Among them are Sararat’s lawyer, her ex-husband, and a former police officer.

For concealing evidence to aid the woman in avoiding prosecution, they received prison sentences of one year, four months, and two years, respectively.
