Fire at Detroit auto parts store shuts down McNichols Road, crews on scene

DETROIT (FOX 2):near Tuesday, firefighters responded to a fire at an auto parts store located near the intersection of McNichols and Woodward in Detroit.

Several firemen have been battling to extinguish the Holbrook Auto Parts fire since it began to rage at 3 p.m.

When Sky FOX flew above the site, they noticed flames and black smoke emerging from the building’s roof. It shows dozens of firefighters trying to get inside the building to put out the fire.

The source of the fire and whether anyone was hurt are unknown.

Drivers who commute through the region will have to find an alternate route because McNichols Road is closed in both directions until further notice.
