Florida Woman Arrested for Freeway Shootings During Eclipse Alleges Divine Command
DEBARYLIFE – A news statement from the Florida Highway Patrol stated that a lady was taken into custody after she allegedly went on a “shooting spree” on Interstate 10 in Holmes County due to Monday’s solar eclipse.
22-year-old Taylon Nichelle Celestine of Georgia was charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and improper firearm discharge.
According to FHP, she is being detained at the Holmes County Jail. According to troopers, they found a 9 mm handgun and an AR-15.
“The suspect … recently checked out of a local hotel and told the staff she was going on a shooting spree, directed by God concerning the solar eclipse,” claimed the announcement.
Two motorists Received Medical Attention
Celestine fired several rounds at a vehicle after driving her purple Dodge Challenger onto the freeway.

The man who drove it “was struck by glass fragments from the window and grazed on the arm by a bullet; however, he was able to steer his vehicle onto the shoulder of the road, away from the suspect,” according to a release.
As of Monday afternoon, a second driver who had been wounded in the neck was receiving medical attention at a nearby hospital.
