(FOX 2) Dearborn, MichiganJohn “Jack” O’Reilly Jr., the former mayor of Dearborn, passed away, according to his son’s Facebook post on Wednesday.

O’Reilly was a member of the Dearborn City Council from 1990 to 2007 before becoming mayor of Dearborn from 2007 to 2022.

John B. O’Reilly Sr., his father, was the police chief of Dearborn and mayor from 1978 until 1985.
