Former model shoots husband dead ‘fearing he was going to divorce her for cheating’ before turning gun on herself
According to his family, a former model who killed her husband before killing herself did so out of concern that he would divorce her for having an affair outside of marriage.
After shooting her husband Pajtim Krasniqi, 34, five times on the balcony of a Miami apartment on the 45th floor with a view of the ocean, 27-year-old Sabrina Krasniqi committed suicide.
When their local ShotSpotter system detected the terrible incident, police hurried to the scene.
The bodies of the couple were discovered in a pool of blood outside the residence.
At the scene, they were both declared dead.
Pajtim’s distraught brother has now disclosed what he believes might have led to the terrible murder-suicide.

Arben told The New York Post that once the couple started dating, his family noticed a lot of “signs” in their connection.
“We saw a lot of signs, and now everything makes sense,” he said.
“But they were in love, and never in a million years did we think something like this could happen.”
Arben went on to say that Sabrina killed her husband and herself because she reportedly cheated on Pajtim, who subsequently requested a divorce.
“There was infidelity on her part,” the distraught sibling continued. She didn’t take my brother’s desire for a divorce lightly.
“And she decided to take her own life and, somewhere along the line, she decided to take my brother s life.”
The balcony’s glass door is covered in gunshot holes, according to footage made public by the police looking into the incident.
Outside, both bodies were covered by a yellow sheet.
In the weeks preceding the murder-suicide, neighbors reported to investigators that they heard the couple yelling and fighting.
They said that the pair frequently argued loudly outside on the balcony.
Sabrina was featured in an Inside Edition TV piece and was formerly a model in New York City.
Following their marriage, she and her husband left their family in New York and resided in Miami in 2022.
According to reports, Pajtim’s mother is devastated by the passing of her son, who “treated her like gold”.
“Our mother is devastated,” said Albana Krasniki Munrett, her daughter. That’s her child. Every day he called her. He was like gold to my mom.
“He had a special gift of finding joy in the simplest of things and reminding us that life was worth celebrating,” the victim’s family wrote in the statement.
“He claimed that I was his hero all the time. I kept my hero status a secret from him. He’s gone now. He was taken from me by this awful guy,” his nephew continued.
