Four Powerball prizes worth $250,000 remain unclaimed and all the tickets were bought in the same state
FOUR Powerball are still up for grabs worth a massive $250,000, and all of the tickets were bought in the same state.
The Minnesota State Lottery has announced the four bounties that are still unclaimed, with the lucky winners being urged to claim quickly.
The four open draws mostly date back to early 2024, with the biggest prize of $100,000 coming much later in the year.
The $100,000 game was closed on June 24 at Speedway #4317 in White Bear Lake.
Three lotto jackpots half that size are also available.
A $50,000 total game was ended at Club Foods on Nicollet Ave in Minneapolis on January 3.

Another jackpot worth the same is up for grabs in Baxter at a Super One Foods, store number 535.
That one was closed on March 23.
The final ticket left to cash in was bought at store number 177 of Kwik Trip in Monticello on April 1, also worth $50,000.
All four of these prizes are yet to be claimed.
Winners have year from the date the game closes to claim their earnings.
If the cash goes unclaimed by the winning ticket, nobody will get the massive amounts up for offer.
If someone believes they have the winning ticket, they should get themselves to the location where they bought it before the time runs out.
URGENT HUNT FOR LOTTO WINNER
This is not the only unclaimed lottery prize that the clock is ticking on.
In November, The US Sun reported that there are $150,000 Powerball prizes going wanting.
Pennsylvania lotto chiefs revealed the ticket was bought at a Weis Markets store in Montgomery Borough – around 170 miles from Philadelphia – before the draw on December 11, 2023.
The prize must be claimed by December 11, 2024, per the ABC affiliate WHTM-TV.
If the price is won, the winner has the choice on how to receive it.
Jackpot winners can either receive their prize as a lump sum, or in the form of staggered payments known as the annuity.
Lottery winnings: lump sum or annuity?
Players who win big on lottery tickets typically have a choice to make: lump sum or annuity?
The two payout methods can impact how much money you get from your prize.
Annuities pay out slowly in increments, often over 30 years.
Lump sums pay all at once but in a smaller amount, as taxes are withheld in one go. That means 24% of your prize goes to Uncle Sam right away. Many states tax winnings as well.
Annuities can provide winners time to set up the financial infrastructure required to take in a life-changing amount of money, but lump sums have the benefit of being taxed only once.
Inflation is also worth considering when making a choice, as payouts do not adjust with the value of a dollar. That means that you’ll likely be getting less valuable money towards the end of an annuity.
Each state and game pays out prizes differently, so it’s best to check with your state’s lottery to confirm payment policies. A financial advisor can also help you weigh the pros and cons of each option.
Experts have varying opinions on whether to take the lump sum or take the annuity.
Elsewhere, a huge $1,000,000 lottery prize has to be claimed in the next few months.
The unknown player from Washington won the million-dollar prize in the draw on September 10.
The overnight millionaire bought the Mega Millions ticket from Brewster in Okanogan County.
Players are asked to check for the following numbers on their tickets:
01, 02, 16, 24, 66 and Mega Ball 06.

The prize has to be claimed by March 9, 2025.
If the rightful winner still hasn’t claimed the money, it will return to the state’s lottery fund to be won by someone else.
