Fox makes major broadcasting change for NFL playoffs after schedule for division round is confirmed by league
Following the confirmation of the NFL playoffs’ following round, FOX made significant schedule adjustments.
This coming weekend, one of the four division round games will be shown live on the network.
Additionally, it deviates from their typical season-long program.
Fox has been assigned a Saturday night matchup with the NFC’s top seeds.
The Detroit Lions will be shown the Washington Commanders.
And it will start live from Ford Field at 8:00 p.m. ET.

This implies that the schedules of people like Terry Bradshaw, Michael Strahan, andBrady, Tom.
During the regular season, Fox typically broadcasts games live on Sunday afternoons.
Additionally, they broadcast the Green Bay Packers vs. Philadelphia Eagles game in the wild card round on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET.
Originally, Fox was scheduled to broadcast college basketball live on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.
Starting at 11.30 am ET, the network will broadcast college basketball all day.
However, the NFL playoffs have since replaced the evening time.
The Lions received a first-round bye because they are the top seed in the NFC.
They won the NFC North division title and a 15-2 record after defeating the Minnesota Vikings in Week 18.
Washington, on the other hand, entered with a 12-5 record and was seeded sixth.
Additionally, they advanced to the next round by defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild card round on Sunday.
Over the weekend of the conference championship, Fox will resume its Sunday coverage.

The Houston Texans will play the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday, January 18, at 4:30 p.m. ET (ESPN/ABC).
Washington Commanders at Detroit Lions, Saturday, January 18, 8 p.m. ET (Fox)
Sunday, January 19, 3 PM ET (NBC)—To be determined at the Philadelphia Eagles
Sun., Jan. 19, 6:30 p.m. ET (CBS): Buffalo Bills vs. Baltimore Ravens
The NFC Championship Game will air on the network on Sunday, January 26 at 3 p.m. ET.
In the championship, the victor of the Lions-Commanders matchup will play either the Minnesota Vikings, the Los Angeles Rams, or the Philadelphia Eagles.
Additionally, Fox will host the Super Bowl in New Orleans the following month.
