Fox makes major Super Bowl announcement live on Thanksgiving special with performers to join Kendrick Lamar confirmed
A live Super Bowl announcement was made by FOX during the Thanksgiving pregame show.
Along with halftime performer Kendrick Lamar, the lineup for this year’s NFL showpiece game was finalized.
On February 9, 2025, Fox will broadcast Super Bowl LIXlive from New Orleans, Louisiana.
The Mercedes-Benz Superdome’s halftime show already had Kendrick Lamar confirmed.
However, Fox announced the national anthem performance along with two other vocalists.
As the honorary performer of the national anthem, Jon Batiste is at the top of the pregame lineup.

Before Batiste enters the stage, Trombone Shorty and Lauren Daigle will sing America the Beautiful.
Additionally, in February, Ledisi will play Lift Every Voice and Sing in New Orleans.
