Fox News confirms all-new line-up for hit show with a weekend favorite moving to primetime hosting spot
Viewers will be thrilled to see a familiar face in the prime-time Fox News slot that was left empty due to Neil Cavuto’s departure.
Weeks after the departure of adored business reporter Cavuto, the network announced a number of scheduling and host adjustments.
Beginning January 21, Fox & Friends Weekend will be hosted byAt 4 p.m. on weekdays, Will Cain will take over as host of The Will Cain Show.
Charlie Hurt, the opinion editor for The Washington Times and a contributor to Fox News, will take his position.
Cain expressed his excitement about assisting “viewers better understand the headlines through thought-provoking content and analysis every weekday afternoon.”
“It’s been an honor to wake up with America these past four years,” he stated.

Suzanne Scott, the CEO of Fox News, expressed her excitement about how the network’s future will be altered by the new roster.
“Will Cain brings years of experience to the 4 pm hour as an accomplished broadcaster and a lawyer, and we look forward to adding his insights to what will no doubt be another historic news cycle ahead this year,” she stated in a press release.
During his weekend duties, Cain, who has been with Fox News since 2020, spoke with celebrities such as actor Dwayne Johnson and President-elect Donald Trump.
He hosted a radio show called The Will Cain Show and made appearances on the morning discussion show First Take while he was employed at the sports network ESPN before to joining Fox.
Originally from Texas, he founded and sold Quince Media, a magazine that focused on Latin American culture, after completing law school at the University of Texas.
After assisting with the sale of several minor media businesses, he joined CNN in 2011 as a stand-in host for a sports show.
Cain has two sons with his wife, Kathleen Cain.
MAJOR SHAKE-UP
On Monday, a number of other schedule adjustments were revealed.
Both The Big Weekend Show and Fox Report Weekend with Jon Scott have been expanded to two hours.
The Big Weekend Show will now air from 6 to 8 p.m. ET, while The Fox Report will air on Saturdays and Sundays from 3 to 5 p.m. ET.
Additionally, the Fox Business-streamed Big Money Show has been extended to broadcast weekdays from 12 to 2 p.m. ET.
That program will be hosted by Dagen McDowell, co-host of The Bottom Line, an evening program on Fox Business.
Who is Will Cain?
After presenting Fox & Friends Weekend for several years, WILL Cain has been brought to Fox News’ weekday programming.
With The Will Cain Show, he is occupying the 4 p.m. time slot that business correspondent Neil Cavuto left vacant.
Since joining Fox & Friends in 2020, Cain has been a part of Fox.
He conducted interviews with celebrities over his weekend duties, including actor Dwayne Johnson and President-elect Donald Trump.
After graduating from the University of Texas, Cain, who is a lawyer by profession, entered the media industry.
He founded Quince, a firm that issued a magazine examining quincea periods, after graduating from law school.
In his most recent position, he provided conservative viewpoints on current sports topics while working at ESPN.
He frequently appeared on the immensely famous debating show First Take and hosted the radio show The Will Cain Show.
The couple has two sons together. Cain is married to Kathleen Cain.
The network underwent a reorganization following Fox icon Cavuto’s departure following 28 years of service.
One of the network’s longest-serving hosts, the 68-year-old left a huge void in Fox Business and the main channel.
“Neil Cavuto’s illustrious career has been a master class in journalism and we’re extremely proud of his incredible 28-year run with Fox News Media,” a Fox News spokeswoman stated following his announcement of his leaving.
