Fox NFL Sunday in major broadcasting change for Super Bowl with Donald Trump added to pre Chiefs-Eagles show

FOX NFL Ahead of the pivotal Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles game, Sunday has changed their Super Bowl coverage.

On Sunday in South Florida, the Fox News Channel will broadcast a pre-recorded interview with Trump regarding his first 100 days in office.

The network disclosed that the recording, which would take place at Mar-a-Logo in Palm Beach, one of Trump’s homes, will “focus on the changes the Trump administration has enacted since the Inauguration and the first 100 days of his presidency.”

The interview between Trump and FoxNews anchor Brett Baier is scheduled to air on Sunday at 3:00 pm Eastern during the Super Bowl pregame program.

Additionally, parts of the interview will be broadcast on Fox News’ Special Report with Bret Baier on Monday, February 10 at 6:00 p.m. Eastern.

Since taking office as the 47th President of the United States on January 20, this will be Trump’s first official interview with a news anchor on a major network.

When Trump was vying for the Republican presidential nomination in 2023, Baier conducted his most recent interview.

Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, was also interviewed by Fox’s chief political anchor and correspondent.

In 2024, Baier co-anchored the network’s coverage of breaking news and political events, including Super Tuesday, the Democratic National Convention, the Republican National Convention, and election night.

In recent years, a sitting president has been given an interview by the network that broadcasts the Super Bowl.

For the final two years of his term, President Joe Biden did not participate in the pregame discussion.

In 2018, Trump similarly turned down a pregame interview with NBC.

Fox Sports anticipates tens of millions of viewers worldwide for the 2018 Super Bowl.

At Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will play against the Eagles and Jalen Hurts in the eagerly awaited matchup.

Trump celebrated the Chiefs’ victory on Truth Social following their AFCC championship victory over the Buffalo Bills.

“Congratulations to theKansas City Chiefs,” he tweeted.

“What a GREAT Team, Coach, Quarterback, and virtually everything else, including those fantastic FANS, that voted for me (MAGA!) in record numbers.”

Despite the difficult defeat, Trump also praised the Bills for their efforts.

“Likewise, congratulations to theBuffalo Billson a tremendous season,” he tweeted.

“They will do a lot of winning long into thefuture!!!”

Kansas City is aiming for the first-ever three-peat in NFL history.

This game will be a rematch of the Chiefs’ 38-35 victory against the Eagles in Super Bowl 57 two years ago.
