Fury as hated London mayor Sadiq Khan ‘will be rewarded for failure’ if he gets rumoured knighthood

Furious Conservatives yesterday slammed SADIQ Khan’s rumored knighthood as a failure.

It is anticipated that London’s Labour Mayor will receive recognition for his public and political service in the New Year’s list.

Rising knife crime, a housing problem, and his extension of the despised Ulez program have all drawn harsh criticism during his tenure in City Hall.

The leader of the London Assembly Tories, Neil Garratt, raged: “Many people are accusing the Government of rewarding Sadiq for failure, even though it might be an accumulator award given how many failures he has had.”

Alternatively, it may be Sir Keir Starmer rewarding the Mayor for ceasing to demand things for London after months of ignoring him.

Anna Firth, a former Tory MP, also took aim, saying: Let’s be clear: the people of London deserve a knighthood for enduring Sadiq Khan.

Fury as Tube drivers offered FOUR-DAY week by Sadiq Khan s TfL to stop strikes

In May, Mr. Khan was elected to a record-breaking third term as the first Muslim mayor of a major city in the European Union.

He served as a minister under former Prime Minister Gordon Brown and has over 20 years of experience as a Labour politician.

More rage surrounded the Mayor when Khan’s Transport for London offered Tube drivers a four-day workweek in an attempt to halt strike action.

According to Union Aslef, members would receive a 3.8% salary increase and work 35 hours per week, which is 2.5 percent less than their existing contract.
