George Pickens facing NFL punishment after being spotted on Amazon TNF cameras fighting with Cleveland Browns rival
George Pickens, a wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers, was seen on camera battling Greg Newsome, a defense for the Cleveland Browns.
Both players were wrapped up during Pittsburgh’s Hail Mary attempt and got into it after becoming blanketed in snow.
When each attempted to position themselves to catch the ball on the game-deciding play, the altercation began.
AndAmazonTNF cameras caught the moment the two started fighting, prompting teammates to step in.
Pickens had to be restrained by several Steelers staff members while Newsome left.
Newsome responded bluntly to the confrontation, and as a result, he is now facing penalty from the NFL.

He said, “Fake tough guy,” to ESPN.
After helping to detain Pickens, Steelers wide receiver Mike Williams told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, “I don’t know what was going on.”
“I walked over there to fetch him after spotting him in the stands when I was searching for him. I have no idea what was happening.
The Browns won the game 24–19, ending the Steelers’ five-game winning run.
Under fire, Pickens attributed the loss to the conditions caused by the severe snowfall.
“Conditions played a huge, huge part in today’s game,” he stated.
“The Cleveland Browns, in my opinion, are not a very good team. The circumstances may have saved them today.
Pickens said that the snow prevented him from connecting in the end zone, wasting the opportunity to make a late touchdown reception.
“The snow, the conditions were so bad,” he stated. Sometimes, I don’t even think the quarterback could see.
“And when you got conditions like that, at the opponents’ home field, it kind of plays in their favor.”
