Georgia Authorities Apprehend 20 Gang Members in Cedar Park Robbery Probe

CEDAR PARK, Texas – After an investigation into an armed robbery in Cedar Park, Texas, 20 members of a Georgian gang were taken into custody.

Detectives from the Cedar Park Police Department responded to a report of an aggravated assault at Black Rock Vape on March 14.

Upon the arrival of law enforcement, the victim reported that, while attending an Austin event, many males approached him and inquired about purchasing “exotic flowers.”

After agreeing, the victim drove the men back to Black Rock Vape in Cedar Park. Police said the victim reported that when they got to the store, a gang of males brandished guns, and stole his phone, cash from the register and safe, and a variety of vaping goods.

Investigators from Cedar Park claim that during their inquiry, they were able to determine the suspects’ gang affiliation and follow them to Georgia.

On April 5, search and arrest orders were carried out by agents from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) Gang Task Force, the Dekalb County Police Department, ATF Georgia, and Cedar Park Detectives.

According to the authorities, they discovered a hoard of cash, drugs, and firearms while executing the warrants.

The house served as both a drug distribution hub and a jumping-off point for criminal conduct, according to the police.

Twenty gang members and associates were detained in total.

For their roles in the armed robbery in Cedar Park, four of the twenty men were charged; three of the four guys now have further charges pending in Georgia.

19 years old For their roles in the armed robbery in Cedar Park, John Ben Frazier, 18, Jakai Tyere Lewis, 17, Ashton Patrick George, and 31, all of Georgia, were charged with two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of engaging in organized crime.

The Georgia Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act, the unlawful manufacture, delivery, distribution, possession, or sale of controlled substances, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm while committing a felony are other charges that Frazier, Lewis, and George are facing in Georgia.
